Judith Eele has always had a passion for making a positive impact on communities and the environment. Originally from Scotland, Judith spent several years living and working in Chile, where she worked with various organizations focused on social and environmental issues. It was there that she discovered her passion for community development and realized the potential that social enterprise had to make a difference.
In 2013, Judith returned to Scotland and began working with Community Enterprise, a consultancy that supports social enterprises and community organizations. As a Senior Development Officer, Judith has played a crucial role in supporting grassroots community groups and established charities in various areas such as feasibility research, business planning, program evaluations, project planning and innovation, and grant funding. Through her work, she has helped raise over £2.5 million in grant funding for her clients, enabling them to make a bigger impact in their communities.
In 2022, Judith joined the board of the West Lothian Social Enterprise Network (WLSEN). Her expertise and experience have been invaluable in helping the organization achieve its mission of promoting social enterprise and supporting its members.
Judith’s commitment to creating a positive impact in communities, combined with her extensive knowledge of community development and grant funding, make her an asset to the WLSEN board.
