David is the Regional Development Manager for Fedcap Scotland – a not-for-profit organisation that designs, develops and delivers innovative solutions to help people live healthier, happier lives and to help local communities flourish. This is done through a person-centred, integrated health and employability service.
Fedcap Scotland operates in eight areas across Scotland including Livingston and has so far supported thousands of people in West Lothian.
David is an experienced leader in Private and Charity sectors with local and national perspective of social enterprise, employability and skills, education, sport for development, partnership working and social impact, all aimed at addressing key, social issues for disadvantaged, vulnerable groups. With a strong financial background and track record for securing funding, David is experienced in managing and leading organisations at both strategic and operational levels and innovative programme management from inception to completion.
In various Community Development, Charity and Social Enterprise roles spanning 20 years at Rangers Football Club, Falkirk Football Community Foundation, the Scottish Union of Supported Employment and now Fedcap Scotland, David has supported a wide range of groups from disengaged school children, young carers, unemployed youths, students with learning disabilities, long-term unemployed adults, visually impaired senior citizens, disabled people, and parents. David is passionate about helping people, organisations and communities reach their full potential.
